Ramsey & District Community Bus Association
Formed in the late 1980′s, Ramsey & District Community Bus Association Ltd., was registered as an Industrial and Provident Society No.26992R in 1990. It has charitable status and is run for the benefit of the Local Area Community.
We are a voluntary, not for profit, organisation headed by a group of Trustees and managed by a Committee. Our objectives are to provide transport for other non profit making organisations, including the elderly and/or handicapped, within the rural area of Ramsey and its surrounding villages. We are obliged to charge groups and individuals who hire an annual Registration Fee, which currently is £5 per year.
We have a small team of volunteer drivers dedicated to supporting our objective of providing transport for the various clubs, societies and qualifying individuals in the area. We are always in need of more drivers and if you could give some of your time to helping us ensure a continued service, then please “contact us”.
On Thursday and Friday we provide regular weekly Rural Hoppa (RH) services. Thursday covers Upwood to Huntingdon through the villages and Friday we circumnavigate Ramsey’s villages into Ramsey shopping centre, these services are in conjunction with Cambridgeshire County Council.
